How to Make a Glass Pendant: Part 1

I have been enjoying making glass pendants so much!
I thought you might like to know how,
they are so easy.

You'll Need:
~Glass Tiles
~Glaze
~Images

Step 1:
Print out your images on heavy weight paper or card stock.
I tend to use 100% cotton resume paper, but many people use card stock. Use whatever you have, I've used plain paper too.

Step 2:
Gently tip the bottle of glaze and begin to spread it on your glass piece. DO NOT shake your glaze, it will have a ton of bubbles if you do!

You want a nice even coat across your piece, don't skimp or it will not adhere properly to the pendant.
This is what the proper amount of glaze looks like on the back of your pendant, the glaze should cover the entire surface.

Step 3:
Gently lay the pendant over the image, do not press the pendant down you want it to float on the glaze.
When you are laying the pendant down. Set it down on an angle starting from one end and gently lower the piece onto the paper so that the air escapes from under it.

Now we let these cure overnight.
Tomorrow I'll show you how to
finish your pendants.
